Multi-Function Valves 

 

Dosing pump multifunction valve manufactured in PVDF compatible with most aggressive chemicals designed as a cost effective solution to address common challenges in chemical metering applications and to extend critical functionality such as syphoning, excessive back pressure, priming and as a pressure relief valve and other key functions into a single valve design mounted directly on the dosing pump discharge connection, constant back pressure improves the dosing pump performance whilst the pressure relief mechanism protects against malfunctioning or damage to the pump by releasing fluid through the relief port back into the chemical storage container therefore solving a series of potential problems in a single valve installed on to the dosing pump.

Manufactured in pvdf with ptfe diaphragm for increased chemical resistance and reliability and performance combines pressure relief and pressure loading functionality mounted direct on to the chemical dosing pump, independent adjustment of the loading valve pressure the pump must dose against into the pipeline stream and safety valve pressure relief set points.

Pressure Loading Valve

 

The advantages of using a manually adjustable back pressure loading valve with a spring loaded diaphragm mechanism providing increased precision and performance created by the sustained loading pressure applied by the diaphragm ensures with each stroke dosed by the chemical volume remains consistent, particularly useful in critical process applications that experience pressure fluctuations and need to maintain a stabilised chemical treatment benefiting from increased chemical efficiency whilst eliminating the possibility of syphoning incurring in the system.

 

Manual Adjustment

Back pressure loading manually adjustable between 0÷5 Bar ensures repeatable stroke output regardless of pipeline stream conditions due to the stabilised back pressure generated by the internal PTFE diaphragm set value locking mechanism, additionally the quantity of chemical being dosed can be more effectively calculated increasing chemical treatment efficiency in the system.

Pressure Safety Relief Valve

 

The safety pressure relief valve functionality prevents excessive pressure building up on the dosing discharge line effectively limiting the maximum permissible pressure in the system diverting the chemical through relief valve back to the tank providing an additional layer of protection against over pressurization occurring  that could lead to dosing pump malfunction failure of pipework or serious injury to personnel, excessive pressure normally occurs when there's a blockage often due to chemical crystallisation particularly around the injection valve outlet entering the flow stream therefore it's critical to install a pressure safety valve to divert the chemical back into the chemical tank.

 

Manual Adjustment

The safety pressure relief valve functionality can be set between 0÷18 bar using the secondary dial mounted on the multi-function valve should the discharge pipework pressure exceed the set value the relief valve diaphragm opens and diverts the chemical through the front chemical port connection, the pressure relief functionality will continue until the pressure returns below the set value.
