Open Chlorine Cells
Amperometric free chlorine cell open system in robust multifunction transparent metacrylate holder
with incoming flow regulation valve for precise measurement of free inorganic chlorine with provision to
house two additional sensors including temperature compensation sensor and flow proximity sensor, chlorine cell
equipped with platinum and copper electrodes that continuously analyses in real-time free chlorine flowing through the chlorine
cell open system with self cleaning system to maintain measurement precision.
Chlorine Sensors
(Chlorine Dioxide Sensors)
Chlorine Measurement Sensors
Free chlorine and Total chlorine amperometric sensors designed using
premium components providing real-time measurement with increased response time ensures efficient chemical
regulation stability and control with minimum maintenance requirement and increased service life, analysing chlorine content
in water through amperometric measurement technology has long been recognized as the most precise and reliable
type of sensor with high resolution real-time readings displayed by the chlorine controller.
Chlorine Dioxide Sensors
Chlorine dioxide measurement is achieved using various methods the most common being using amperometric sensors designed
using a permeable selective membrane cap housing a specialized electrolyte allowing chlorine dioxide to diffuse into
the electrolyte causing an electrical current change between the electrodes to form a basis of measurement, the
membrane forms a protective barrier from harmful contaminants reaching the electrodes maintaining real-time ppm measurement and
increased service life.

Routine Maintenance
Sensors use a permeable selective membrane to isolate the electrodes from the process water
a significant advantage when it comes to maintenance with the membrane surface just requiring a gentle rinse if it
becomes coated in biofilm or scale to maintain measurement accuracy, the selective membrane houses the electrodes
and electrolyte separating them from the process water therefore they rarely need cleaning only requiring the
electrolyte replaced every 3-6 months due to it being consumed over time.
Integrated Electronics
Amperometric sensors house a complex suite of electronics that consists of several key stages designed
to convert a chemical reaction within the selective membrane into a raw readable signal which is amplified by the integrated
electronics into a robust signal that is less less susceptible to electrical noise.
Free Chlorine Sensors
Modern Free Chlorine Amperometric Sensors provides high resolution real-time monitoring
of active chlorine in water providing a constant stream of data to maintain safe and effective disinfection levels across
a wide variety processes making them essential for automated disinfection dosing systems, these high performance sensors provide
immediate feedback allowing precise control even at low chlorine levels essential for drinking water processes, swimming
pools and industrial cooling towers.
