Foot Valve
Foot valve with non-return valve incorporating strainer assembly that serves to
prevent particles or dirt being drawn into the suction line causing blockages or damage to internal
parts of the pump head maintaining the chemical liquid integrity, the non-return valve ensures the suction
line remains primed at all times whilst eliminating any chemical air-lock that could compromise
the dosing pump efficiency by generating a defined back pressure between the footvalve and dosing pump.

Foot Filters (Flow 30÷80 l/Hr)
Foot filters designed for high flow applications with non-return valve &
weight performs two essential roles prevent solid debris or contaminants from entering the suction line &
prevent the pump from losing its prime status, eliminates air locks in the suction line and ensures chemical
consistency whilst protecting the working integrity of the dosing pump.

Foot Filter (Flow 0÷20 l/Hr)
Designed for lower output dosing pumps these foot filters serves as the first line

What is a Dosing Pump Foot Valve
Dosing pump foot valves are a critical accessory it functions as a combined check
valve and strainer to ensure the pump operates reliably and accurately optimise fluid control and safeguard the pumps
operational integrity. Installed at the end of the suction line inside the chemical container these valves serve as the first
line of defence for the dosing pump, by combining a precision non-return mechanism with an integrated mesh strainer foot
valves prevent chemical backflow and block solid contaminants from entering the pump head and ensure the suction line remains primed.
Prevents
Air Locking
In chemical dosing even the smallest air bubble can cause a diaphragm pump to lose its ability to dose the chemical efficiently sometimes leading
to an air lock where no chemical is delivered. Therefore it is essential keeping the line full as it eliminates the need for
manual re-priming and prevents dosing interruptions.
Maintenance Simplicity
Foot valves are designed for tool-free
servicing therefore regular maintenance is vital for the efficiency of the dosing pump especially when dosing chemicals
that have tendency to crystallise or contain sediment. Through periodic inspection of the footvalve it ensures only clean
chemicals enter he suction line and protect the pump.
