Water Meters
Water meters designed to be permanently installed into the existing pipework accurately measure the
water flow using a highly sensitive gear turbine mechanism and flow counter utilised for billing purposes or
integrated into complex process control applications with two factors deciding the water meter required pipe
diameter and temperature, meters up to 2" are supplied with threaded couplings and seals to aid installation
meters up to 10" are flange water meters and separated between two temperature ranges cold (30°) and
high temp (90°) water meters.
Water meters are often used as a practical solution in many industrial
sectors due to their accuracy and reliability commonly employed on irrigation systems, cooling towers, water processing
systems and industrial boilers where meters with a pulse digital output signal are interfaced with monitoring and control systems.
Cold Water Meters
Key Features
• Hermetically sealed dry dial counter
is completely separated from the internal turbine and gearing mechanism
• Meter include integrated
strainer at the inlet side protect the internal ports from larger particles and sediment
• High sensitivity by
splitting the water into smaller, high velocity jet moving the impeller at very low flow rates
• Temperature 30° Max - Pressure 16 Bar - Supplied with set of couplings & seals to
simplify the installation
• Integrated pulse volt free signal for remote data transmission to BMS process or
proportional dosing system
Multi-Jet
Water Meters
Pulsed Output Signal
The mechanical turbine mechanism provides a digital volt free pulse signal directly proportional
to the flow increasing the number-frequency of pulses according to the water flow through the meter this relationship is directly proportional
and locked in allowing the pulse output from the water meter to be utilised to control other equipment such as dosing pumps and
water treatment systems alternatively integrated with remote monitoring building management systems.
Pulse K Factor
Impulse
water meters with volt free pulse signal also known as the (K factor) equating to pulse per litre of water flow running
through the water meter providing a proportional signal utilised for process control applications being factory set and
must be specified when the meter is ordered.
Multi-Jet Water Meters (30°C)
Cold water meters designed for 30°C temperature process applications where the water flow
changes significantly whilst retaining high precision even at low flow making them more attractive for use in
a wide range of critical industrial process applications, feature multiple flow inlets around the circumference
of the meter housing allowing the water flow to enter into the turbine gear mechanism from various points
striking the impeller from different angles maintaining a continuous highly accurate reading.

Multi-Jet Water Meters (90°C)
A Multi-Jet 90° Water Meter often referred to as hot water meters are high-precision velocity
meter specifically engineered with thermal resilience internal components that have been crafted from specialized materials
to withstand continuous high-temperature exposure and prevent deformation to components, eengineered for reliability and accuracy these
meters use advanced velocity-based technology to distribute water through multiple ports balancing the internal impeller to reduce
wear and maintain long-term performance.
